About the Position:
A Coral Gables–based trade finance and financial services organization is seeking a Transaction Analyst – Trade Finance to support the execution and review of international trade transactions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in trade finance operations, transaction analysis, and financial documentation review.
Position Overview:
The Transaction Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and executing trade finance transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and profitability. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to collaborate across operations, compliance, and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze trade finance transactions to assess risk, cost, and compliance
- Review purchase orders (POs) and bills of lading (BLs) for accuracy and completeness
- Execute transactions in accordance with internal policies and contractual terms
- Calculate financing fees, documentation fees, shipping/handling costs, and related charges
- Compute product mark-ups to ensure profitability targets are met
- Maintain transaction ledgers, customer accounts, and financial records
- Prepare reports on transaction status, revenue, and profitability
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, clients, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with trade finance regulations and international trade requirements
- Utilize Excel for data analysis, reconciliations, reporting, and dashboards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in trade finance, international trade operations, or related roles
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation)
- Familiarity with trade documents, purchase orders, and bills of lading
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $60,000–$75,000 per year
