Senior Account Executive (TIER II) Critical Power Systems | Remote (Southeast U.S.)

About the Position:
A rapidly growing provider of mission-critical power solutions is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive expansion across Florida and the Southeast. This organization specializes in UPS infrastructure, battery backup systems, power generation, and long-term service contracts, supporting businesses that require uninterrupted power solutions.

Position Overview:
This role focuses on developing new business while expanding existing accounts within a highly technical and performance-driven sales environment. The ideal candidate is a strong producer with experience in complex technical sales and a proven ability to generate high annual revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business through strategic outbound prospecting and relationship building
  • Conduct virtual and on-site meetings, including equipment assessments
  • Develop and present customized proposals for power infrastructure solutions
  • Expand multi-site accounts and identify long-term service opportunities
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Maintain and grow a pipeline of new and repeat business
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution design

Sales Focus:

  • Early stage: 60–70% new business development (hunting)
  • Mature stage: balanced mix of new and repeat business

Performance Expectations:

  • Typical annual production: $1.5M–$2.0M+
  • Top performers: $3M–$4M+ annually
  • Strong emphasis on repeat business and account expansion

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in UPS systems, generators, batteries, electrical infrastructure, or related industries
  • Strong technical knowledge (UPS systems, battery backup, kVA sizing, power distribution)
  • Proven track record of closing $2M–$5M+ annually
  • Ability to operate independently in a technical sales environment
  • Strong communication and consultative sales skills

Territory:

  • Florida (Central/North preferred)
  • Georgia (Atlanta expansion focus)
  • Broader Southeast/Gulf region

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $100,000 – $120,000
  • On-target earnings: $250,000 – $300,000+
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Strong earning potential with recurring revenue opportunities
