We are a global insurance company with headquarters in Miami and operations across Latin America, the U.S., and Asia. We are expanding our Internal Audit function to strengthen governance, enhance transparency, and provide independent oversight across our offshore and reinsurance businesses.
The Role
As Corporate Internal Audit Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our internal audit coverage. You’ll focus on financial audits, reinsurance operations, and consolidated reporting, while also supporting our Internal Audit transformation plan. This is a highly visible position, partnering with senior executives and regional teams to safeguard assets and improve controls across a rapidly growing global insurance group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute financial audits including consolidation of financial statements.
- Perform risk-based audits of offshore and reinsurance operations (approx. 75% of total GWP).
- Support the implementation of audit transformation initiatives (methodologies, technology, governance).
- Deliver actionable audit observations and recommendations to strengthen controls.
- Coordinate with regional auditors to ensure consistent and efficient audit coverage.
What We’re Looking For
- Public accounting/CPA firm experience with a strong audit foundation.
- Exposure to insurance/reinsurance and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of internal controls (SOX/COSO, ICFR) and process improvement.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Adaptable, patient, and comfortable working in both manual and automated environments.
- Preferred certifications: CPA, CIA, PMP, Six Sigma.
